Head of Marketing

Build and lead our high-performing marketing team that is reinventing the way women buy lingerie.


We are seeking an experienced marketer to help us build a brand, a customer base, and a company that competes in the multi-billion dollar women’s lingerie market. We are a well-funded, fast-growing start-up reinventing the way women shop for bras. With our proprietary algorithms and online quiz, we determine our customer’s unique shape and create a personalized shop for her filled with the styles and sizes that fit her best.


As our Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for our marketing strategy, planning, and programs including:

  • Understanding our target customer’s needs and wants and what drives her to buy
  • Identifying the most promising online and offline acquisition channels and programs by which to find and attract our target customer and convert her to purchase
  • Testing and managing various marketing channels such as paid advertising, promotions, PR, social media, SEO, and more
  • Ensuring all marketing activities are “on brand”
  • Developing short-term and long-term marketing plans that deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Owning key operating metrics such as site visits, purchasers, and repeat purchasers
  • Spearheading research efforts to better understand acquisition attractors and purchase barriers
  • Managing the marketing budget and ensuring efficient spend
  • Hiring, leading, and managing a team of 3-4 high-performing marketers

  • 7-10 years of marketing experience in consumer ecommerce companies with a focus on customer acquisition
  • Experience, planning, testing, executing, and evaluating the success of consumer marketing programs including online advertising, social media, SEO, etc.
  • Highly proficient in using data to identify trends, opportunities, what’s “working”, and what’s “not working”
  • Experience developing and leading teams
  • Clear career progression and a history of increased responsibility
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for program and team success
  • Experience with and exposure to consumer research techniques

Marketing Manager – Email and Promotions

As our Marketing Manager of Email and Promotions, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing our large email list and creating programs that encourage our existing buyers and prospects to buy
  • Defining and managing our promotions calendar
  • Defining and tracking the success metrics of your programs
  • Identifying improvements and optimizing your marketing programs
  • Reporting on key operating metrics such as conversions and lifts in sales for programs
  • Ensuring all marketing visuals, copy, and other program elements are “on brand”
  • Working cross-functionally with Product and Technology to achieve company goals

  • 1-4 years of experience as a marketing manager for an ecommerce company
  • Experience executing, and evaluating the success of marketing programs including email and promotions

Merchandise Planner

We are seeking a self-starter, highly motivated, multi-tasking individual who can spot trends in the business and make sure we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time.


As the planner you will partner with the Head of Merchandise Operations to:

  • Manage category assortment plans, demand, and inventory plan that will achieve financial goals
  • Pre-season and Monthly In-season style level forecasts – drives inventory investment
  • Develop and Identify key concepts, key items to ensure assortment and investments are market relevant
  • Present high-level hindsight to Senior Leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional teams with Customer Interface, Design, and Marketing to feature styles and stories, promos and markdowns aligned with the brand.
  • 2-3 years planning experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Financial and Business Acumen; ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate them into actionable strategies, Retail Math
  • High level of comfort working in excel tools
  • Demonstrated self-starter, independent, organizational agility in a fast paced environment

Supply Planning Coordinator

Take the opportunity to learn about and support our Planning, Merchandising and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will be extremely flexible and enjoy a start-up mentality and environment. We are looking for the personal self-starter who is eager to learn and inclined to say “yes” or “we’ll try”. Ideal position for someone looking to learn more about Inventory/Merchandise Management.

  • Assist Merchandise Manager with various reporting needs, developing assortment plans, ad hoc projects
  • Create Purchase Orders – setting up new products/Vendors
  • Maintain accurate records of PO status: report high level status updates weekly
  • Request and Maintain Vendor log – Request Catalogs/Samples, Maintain detailed records of item availability, Set up new Vendors
  • Ability to accurately enter data into mainframe systems – set up product visibility and collateral for selling on website
  • Assist Merchandise Planner with markdown management and system up-load
  • Self-starter initiative is a must
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow-up and follow thru; detailed
  • Strong telephone communication skills and patience required

Software Engineer

How can a Ruby on Rails engineer help customers find clothes online that really, truly fit? At True&Co, we are building one of the most meaningful online shopping experiences ever.

The Role

Here are a few of the challenges you’ll help us solve:

  • Scaling us up to accommodate millions of users
  • Developing better and more targeted algorithms for our recommendation system
  • Engineering our back end to interface more closely with our inventory system
  • Collaborating with our designers and developers to implement new features
Our ideal candidate:
  • You’ve shipped a couple consumer-facing web applications using modern OO- languages and frameworks.
  • You can demonstrate ownership and longevity of professional projects you’ve built with Ruby on Rails
  • You enjoy architecting and implementing features with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience developing for e-commerce sites (extra bonus points for lifestyle or fashion sites)
  • Experience integrating your app with 3PL or other inventory management systems
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet or Ansible

Customer Experience Representative

As the first line of contact with customers you should be quick on your feet, highly flexible and willing to tackle all customer issues as they arise. The ideal candidate loves interacting with people and is eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

Intern: Social and E-commerce Marketing Analyst

Rapidly growing e-commerce fashion retailer looking for a bright, resourceful and motivated individual to help expand the company’s social and content footprint.

We want to change the way women buy lingerie and intimates and we need your help! We need people who love to talk and write about fashion and are not afraid to try new things with a bright and sunny attitude. Our marketing team has extensive experience and you will be working closely with both them and the CEO to get the job done. This is a rare opportunity to get your foot in the door learning about both the gritty details and high-level strategy of online marketing, valuable for anyone who wants to eventually work for a startup in the Silicon Valley.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
  • Assisting the social media manager with the creation of assets and execution of social media campaigns
  • Writing great and interesting articles for the True&Co. blog, including designing assets and writing copy
  • Working with the Facebook Ads analyst to create, manage, and analyze Facebook ad campaigns
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends in the fashion industry and blogs
  • Contributing to special projects as necessary
  • Be a detail oriented, independent worker with strong organization and communication skills
