Head of Marketing Communications

Lead initiatives to showcase the True&Co. brand and customer experience to influencers, the media and the millions of women who have taken our quiz. Deepen consumer and fashion media relationships and build on our successful PR track record.

  • This position reports directly to the CEO and starts with defining and implementing a brand and communications strategy that recognizes our differentiated positioning in the marketplace
  • Oversee all public relations and communications activities at True&Co. as well as partner with our acquisition marketing team
  • Manage and inspire fashion and business/technology PR agencies by establishing clear messaging and goals to measure progress
  • Leverage existing influencer and media relationships and invest in building new relationships to secure even more impactful fashion, consumer and business news stories across key media to drive new member signups and order volume
  • Coordinate and manage events, branding initiatives, influencer reachout and experiential marketing with external agencies and the marketing team to increase brand awareness and brand equity
  • 7-9 years of agency experience and managing an agency as an in-house publicist
  • In-house experience crafting brand messaging and experiences
  • Social, energetic and likeable, with a wealth of experience and knowledge within the fashion industry
  • An established and extensive network of consumer and fashion media contacts, with proven experience in securing significant, brand building press coverage

Director of Sourcing and Production

Lead Sourcing and Production functions to deliver beautiful high quality product designed by women for women.

  • Own product development pipeline and execute against Go To Market and T&A calendar for on-time delivery.
  • Working with Design and Merchandising to understand design intent and merchandising strategy for each season, securing appropriate production with vendors.
  • Understand vendor capabilities in order to best advise Design and Merchandising partners on product options and decisions.
  • Oversee all development activities from pre-proto requests including attend concept meetings to understand design intention and tone for season; anticipate needs to develop successful product strategies based on Design's vision.
  • Support seasonal sourcing initiatives and support development of seasonal sourcing plan.
  • Lead projects within Pre-Production that support the brands evolving growth strategies and category.
  • Effectively manage calendar for all product development activities; collaborate with key partners to drive product and sourcing dates; manage execution of calendar deliverables across all teams; seek opportunities to optimize process; oversee pre-production approval process and monitor time and action. Must be very organized and detailed to effectively follow up on preproduction approvals.
  • Manage execution and timing of samples including coordinate sample allocation.
  • Develop standards for ratios of development to adoption; early development approval and options.
  • Source and onboard new vendors.
  • 8+ years of pre-production, product development and/or sourcing experience within the intimate apparel industry.
  • Solid understanding of intimate apparel components/construction to aid in problem solving and advice.
  • Prior experience working in vertical retail and/or specialty retail environment required.
  • Prior in-house experience with factories and/or related manufacturing environment preferred.

Product Manager

Define the future of online shopping, creating elegant, individualized user experiences supported by solid data and operations infrastructure.


This position reports directly to the CEO:

  • Translate True&Co.’s overall mission and goals into product strategy, leading both ideation and development of new features and products.
  • Leverage tens of millions of data points about a woman’s body and her life to create amazing shopping experiences and products for women.
  • Drive product development and execute on product plans for on-time launches with engineering, design and operations.
  • Define and analyze metrics that measure success of product initiatives.
  • Build consensus and work with business partners to scope projects efficiently.
  • Execute on user research, A/B testing insight, and market analysis and utilize the insights in product requirements.

  • 3+ years in a Product Management role with hands-on experience driving product strategy, product definition and prioritization.
  • Strong customer focus, including a love of primary customer research, and bias for action and collaboration.
  • Appreciate and have a good eye for design and elegant, intuitive user experiences while at the same time, have a good understanding of design-performance tradeoffs.
  • Resourceful self-starter with a track-record of driving action and results by working with engineering, marketing, merchandising and customer experience teams.
  • Flexibility to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Acquisition Marketing Manager

Lead our acquisition and performance marketing team that is reinventing the way women buy lingerie.

  • Develop paid advertising strategies, based on analysis of performance data, that increase revenue, customer acquisition and customer retention from advertising on Facebook, Google and other acquisition channels.
  • Build and execute on paid advertising plans (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, flighting, budgeting, etc.)
  • Stay up-to-date on knowledge of best practices, strategies, and ad products in paid social channels, including Facebook and Google.
  • Thoroughly understand True&Co.’s goals and key performance indicators
  • Develop and manage execution of customer acquisition and retention campaign testing plans.
  • Collaborate with designers to enable them to deliver creative assets. 
  • 2 - 3 years of customer acquisition digital marketing experience in a direct response business or ROAS campaigns, ecommerce preferred
  • In-depth understanding of Facebook’s paid advertising platform with experience scaling direct response marketing campaigns in a high growth environment
  • Experience using Facebook Power Editor.
  • Knowledge of site optimization tools (Optimizely, etc) and 3rd party bid management tools (Kenshoo, Nanigan’s, etc) for campaign management. Optimization a bonus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
  • Experience as a media/account manager at an agency/PMD
  • Understanding of a strong but fun female-centric voice

Software Engineer

How can a software engineer help customers find clothes online that really, truly fit? At True&Co, we are building one of the most meaningful online shopping experiences ever.

The Role:

We're bringing big data to shopping at scale, tuning our algorithms to be better targeted across millions of users, and are looking to fine-tune them even more. We have a good back-end interface tracking with our inventory system, and we want to make it even better to use than it already is. Our designers are building beautiful mobile interactions, and we'd like them to become more alive than they already are. We'll do these things intelligently, with both strategic and tactical efforts.

About You:

You're familiar with modern web application frameworks, and have good instincts for what makes consumer facing products successful; you might even have built or shipped some of your own. Ownership and longevity of projects are important to you, and these qualities are baked into the things you work on. Balancing how to make a delightful, crafted experience against shipping something quickly to get consumer feedback is something you spend time thinking about.

Bonus Points:
  • You have experience developing for e-commerce sites (extra bonus points for lifestyle or fashion sites)
  • Knowledge of integrating your app with 3PL or other inventory management systems is a big plus
  • Comfort with MySQL, Rails, Python, and/or Meteor is excellent
  • You've worked in an Agile/Scrum environment

Senior Merchandise Planner

Lead and mentor a growing merchandise planning team to spot trends in the business and deliver the right product at the right time to our customers.


As the senior planner you will partner with the Head of Merchandise Operations to:

  • Manage category assortment plans, demand, and inventory plan that will achieve financial goals
  • Pre-season and Monthly In-season style level forecasts – drives inventory investment
  • Develop and Identify key concepts, key items to ensure assortment and investments are market relevant
  • Present high-level hindsight to Senior Leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional teams with Customer Interface, Design, and Marketing to feature styles and stories, promos and markdowns aligned with the brand.

Fit Technical Designer

Delight our customers by ensuring flawless fit design and execution for our private label intimates product line.

As the technical designer you will partner with the Merchandise and Design team to:

  • Execute design and fit intent into bulk production while maintaining brand standards.
  • Collaborate with business partners to obtain clear direction and consensus on design aesthetic, fit intent and construction
  • Lead fit session on live model or mannequin, work with Designer to achieve aesthetic, communicate fit & balance corrections to participants
  • Effectively communicate fit intent, balance and construction to vendors via fit notes, diagrams, digital photos or directly onto pattern.
  • Evaluate garment to determine compliance of spec, construction, and fit intent.
  • Identify potential production, quality and costing issues and make appropriate recommendations while maintaining design and fit intent.
  • Ensure size and fit consistency within product category
  • Track and manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met
  • Expertise in patternmaking including grading, construction and fit for multiple or complex product
  • Knowledge of construction standards and manufacturing methods
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
