The fit, shape, and comfort are off the charts! Good lift with a natural breast shape--and I cannot believe how smooth the back is. This bra is practically invisible even under form fitting tops! The ONLY reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the Poppy colored clasp in the back, while totally a cute stylish touch, completely defeats the purpose of a nude colored bra. It doesn't stand out quite as much under light colored shirts as one would think, but it is still visible--particularly when you lean forward/bend over and your shirt is stretched tighter across your back. Not a deal breaker for me but definitely something to consider when buying this bra. I definitely plan to by the Charcoal.Mint version soon. This is very nearly the perfect bra for bustier gals like me (36DD) who want good shape without added bulk!
So comfortable! While it is very pretty I wouldn't exactly want to strut around in it in front of my boyfriend- it is borderline matronly which is usually how I feel in a full coverage bra. But wow! My shirts look SO MUCH MORE FLATTERING because the support is spot on!! I LOVE THIS BRA because of the support and comfort- it really performs- I'm a nurse and hated to wear it to work but I want to wear it all the time- usually I cannot wait to get my bra off because my shoulders, neck and back are KILLING ME. I didn't even realize it until an hour after I returned home from work that I had this bra on for 14+ hours and it was STILL going. Usually I am repositioning everything after bending over or just running around- I think I may have done that three times in .14 hours and more so out of habit.
I was unsure when I first ordered my first try at home box from True, because I waver between a 40DDD and a 38E, but my friend loved it so I ordered this. It is one of the most comfortable bras I've ever worn, and its beautiful too. The cups are so soft and sensually thin, while giving great support and shape. The straps are nearly as thick as I thought they'd be. I was a bit afraid it would look matronly, but it most certainly does not. The hardware is lovely stainless steel, and very high quality. The band is stretchy though. I was worried about it being small, but I actually think I'll have to move it to the middle hook soon. Btw, I am a True Spectrum Citrine, so usually my cups overfloweth, but not in this. It contains, while allowing for cleavage and low tops.
This bra fits true to size. The middle sits very flat against my chest, the band is fairly comfortable. The material is not as soft as I would like. It was a little abrasive to my skin and grew more uncomfortable as the day went on. One of the biggest problems I have with bras is my straps constantly falling down. The straps did not move during my 45 min try on session at home, so I decided I would keep it. I am used to a bra with some padding to add shape and lift, so this bra did not give me quite the shape I like, but I thought if the straps would stay up, the trade-off would be worth it. The next day started off well. But by the afternoon the rough material was irritating my skin in areas, especially on my shoulders. Also the underwire began to poke into the right side. After the full day of wear, I wish I could return it, but the straps did stay up, so, there's that.
This is the first bra I've EVER tried on that the bridge actually sits flat against my skin! The fabric feels so soft and silky and when I wear it I barley feel like I'm wearing anything. That being said, the fabric is also super thin and a bit sheer. Also, the cups seem to pull my boobs away from the center of my chest, leaving me a bit flat in front and rather cleavage-less, which is not my ideal shape. I decided to keep this bra because I think it will be great for wearing around the house on lazy days instead of a sports bra, and possibly under some of my heavier tops, however because of the thinness of the fabric and the flattened silhouette it gives me I don't see it ever being much of a wear out on the town or to work bra.
Love it! Even though this is a size 34. the band fits the way a 32 band does on me. It's tight enough, and the band is wide enough (but not so wide that it's not sexy) to provide support so that the band doesn't slide up your back throughout the day. If you're like me and have boobs but don't want to play them up with a full cup, full-on padded bra, but you also don't want to hide the girls, this is a great bra. The fabric is very comfortable and sheer to make the look a little exciting. While this looks like more of a full-coverage bra, and it is, it's not unattractive. I am really against the look of full-coverage bras, but this one is supportive while it also looks nice on.
The good: Lightweight, form fitting, and amazingly comfortable. The cups fit perfectly and provide substantial support without bulk. Band is very comfortable as are the shoulder straps. One of the best fitting bras I have ever put on. The bad: Unfortunately, this bra has no lining or padding making the "headlight" issue a major one. At 47, there will be a limited number of blouses under which this extraordinarily comfortable bra can be worn. Also problematic is the BRIGHT ORANGE segment on the back of the bra. Why would any company put bright orange on the back of a flesh colored bra? Under a light colored shirt the orange looks like a target in the middle of the back!
I haven't even considered an unpadded bra since I was a C cup or smaller. I'm saggy, and I was positive I needed padding to provide needed lift. Boy was I wrong! This is the most comfortable bra I've had in YEARS. The band is one of very few I've tried that doesn't dig into me. It lifts and shapes beautifully, even for larger cup sizes. I probably could have used a DD because I do spill out of the top just a tad on the D cup. But it's so comfortable, I'm keeping the D anyway and will probably order a DD for those days I'm feeling a little fuller. And, by the way, my husband saw this one in the box and loved the look even before I tried it on. Can't beat that!
Where has this bra been hiding from me!!! This bra is VERY sensual, yet it conforms to your breasts and with the underwire, you get ALL of the support you will need without the discomfort! I loved the POP of neon color at the very back with the closure hooks. All of the hardware on this brand of bra seemed cheap made to me, I would have liked to have seen golden hooks, BUT, I do have to say that I've been wearing two of the bras that I picked out and so far the hooks, strap adjustments, etc., have been the most comfortable ones I have EVER experienced!! I'm hoping that you will make these same bras, but in other colors, like a white.!!!! Yah!!
After nursing three babies, it's really difficult to find a bra that will support and lift my not-so-firm breasts without major spillage out the top with any kind of movement on my part. Any bras I have have found that work in the past have been basic, blah, and in no way sexy. Then there is this one!! Sheer, but lightly lined and full coverage cups hold me in and look sexy! My husband likes the softness without the artificial feel of a push-up, and that I retain my natural shape under a tee- I like that you'd never know my breasts sag without a bra :) Beautiful work!!
The material is really light and stretchy. When I first tried it on, I was cringing waiting for the expected pinching and discomfort, instead I found myself sighing in pleasure. It's not only pretty, but it's light as air. I did all the movement tests (hands over the head in a reach, bending down, twisting, etc) and it moved seamlessly with my body. I'm personally a fan of the 3-4 hook closure, so this bra hit that mark and I think b/c the cups and straps are so comfortable you don't notice the underwire. All-in-all, a great "everyday" bra.
Like buttah! I'm not a huge fan of unlined bras and am concerned with 'see through' and/or issues with headlights but this bra is great. Very nicely constructed, interesting neutral but different color, very soft and supportive while still feeling light and breathable. I haven't worn it for very long yet but am excited to try it for extended periods of time! I also really like the scoop back and feel that it fits better than typical bras that just cut across your shoulder blades.
Love this bra. I would have never picked this bra style because I thought it wouldn't look smooth under tight T-shirts, but this one does. Plus, I would have never selected a 34D. I usually wear a 36B or a 36C. I was so surprised when I actually looked SMALLER in this bra than in a 36B. I thought the larger cups would have made my breasts look huge. But, I look nice and smooth and my breasts look normal sized under T-shirts. This was a surprise pick by the company....
very lightweight, fits very well. no strap slippage either on the shoulders or the back. Girls stay put and no need for adjusting them throughout the day. Only drawback is that it is unlined which allows for peekaboo headlights when it's a bit chilly. There were areas that were scratchy, like under the arm, the shoulder adjustment and in the front of the armpit where the little pooch is that we all have, but on second day it didn't feel as scratchy.
This bra has good support and shaping--my breasts look great, but not too huge. It is lightly lined so there is some nipple action visible if you have a tight fitting t-shirt on. The only thing that keeps this from being 5 star is the band is slightly itchy and maybe not as comfortable as it could be. Perhaps after a few washes this will dissipate. Overall, I really liked it because it made my chest look so great and it was pretty comfortable.
I've been looking for a bra without foam cups, as I don't want any extra padding or bulk. This bra very comfortable and pretty. It has a lot of stretch but it is still very supportive. The straps are a little wider set and are hidden perfectly under my tank tops. I like the contrasting detail of the mint color on the hooks against the gray. The seam on the front of the cup was flipping up at first, but as I wore it, it settled down. Great bra!
The soft, smooth, stretchy material gives a lot of comfort. I love that it is breathable without excessive lace that always seem to become scratchy around the second hour of wear. The straps doesn't stick out under tank tops but even if it would it doesn't look so much like a bra strap! The closure hooks in the back is definitely more sturdy than what I am used to with VS bras and I don't anticipate it wearing down as fast either.
I need a bra with some support for working out but don't want heavy support or heavy underwires that pole when I lay flat. very comfortable - wish it came with a bit more padding just because in lightweight t shirt I 'show'. rarely wear tank tops or light weight tshirts, so it's not a huge issue. Would wear a camisole with it if I wore a sweater. If you make this bra with a bit of padding I would love to own one!
This bra is a perfect fit and I love the lift. The center bridge on my other bras never laid flat against my chest like this one does. Downsides are I think it is a little pricy for a sheer bra and this style doesn't come padded; a little padding would prevent the outline of my nipples showing through blouses and tees. I'll have to wear a heavier material shirt with this bra to prevent that issue.
So far, I've only had a chance to wear once, I really like the feel and look of the Made of Stars bra. This is the first bra I've purchased since have a breast reduction/lift surgery and I am super sensitive to underwire, however, I still want to feel that support and security. This fits well and is very comfortable, I like the hook and closure band and think I will purchase more in the future.
I was skeptical having not tried on the bra in the store. I feel like a new woman :) This bra isn't hot like the lined bras. It doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable. I got home from work and excited to try on the bra, switched out of the tight sports bra I work in and into this one. I haven't taken it off because it is so comfortable. The amount of support for the amount of material is amazing.
The material isn't perfectly comfortable, but the fit is PERFECT. Actually I'm keeping this one along with the size 38DD as an alternate for days I'm feeling a little heavier, if you know what I mean. Other than the very minor complaint about a slight roughness of the material, this is the first bra I've gotten that doesn't feel like something is *off* and not supporting me properly. Thank you!
Based on the picture I expected this bra to be more sheer. Mine is opaque.I'm knocking it down a star because of that. Other than that? This is the most comfortable bra I have ever put on in my life. It doesn't give me great cleavage or anything like that but wow it is supportive, makes everything look great, and feels like I'm not even wearing a bra. I've never had that experience before.
I'm only giving this four stars because I'm still getting used to the underwire, which I haven't worn in many years. This bra makes me look good in a t-shirt, and is remarkably comfortable. (I saw my sister-in-law the day before my order arrived, and she showed me her new bra, which was this one!) After I've worn this for a while, I will probably get another one in another color.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE BRA OF ALL TIME. From the picture, I wouldn't have picked it; however, this bra was one of the bras that True&Co. chose for me!! It's SO perfect, is really comfortable, sexy, and it fits my boobs perfectly!! Usually bras tug on the cup part because of my boob size. BUT THIS ONE IS PERFECT. It separates my boobs so it doesn't look like a uni-boob. Love love love!!
I liked the fit of this because it is very lightweight material, and creates a smooth line. It fits me nice and snug, with no spillover on the sides and no gaps in the front. Also, it is a VERY pretty color! My only criticism is that for some reason the hook and eye section is an ugly off-white material that doesn't match the rest of the bra in any way...what's up with that???
This is very soft, sits flat on chest, is a very nice color. It's stretchy and feels good but does not dig much (usually the problems I have are 1. won't sit flat in the front, 2. Band digs into rib cage. I know they are supposed to be tight but I'm unsure how tight is too tight? I get tired of wearing a bra after all day because it digs into my ribs but it doesn't hurt...)
I love, love, love this bra. I have it in the nude/coral color as well (though in a 38D), and... If I didn't own so many other bras, I could probably happily wear the Made of Stars style forever. The fit on the 36DD is slightly better for me than on the 38D, especially when I have fuller bust days. And did I mention how beautiful the color is? This is the perfect bra.
I was shocked by how much I liked this bra. I normally really don't like how full coverage bras look, but this one manages to still be flattering while being unbelievably comfortable. The band is comfortable and the cup fits perfectly. I wear a lot of low cut tops which doesn't make a full coverage bra very practical for me, but it was too comfortable to not keep.
This combines the best of both worlds for me - I was looking for a bra that had adequate side coverage but didn't feel overly padded or shaped. This bra mimics my natural shape but still offers a lot of support. My only warning is that the front material (which is so, so soft and silky) is very thin so if you're worried about nipples appearing - it could happen.
